I would sat about 20. I didn’t really know what engineering was until I started doing my physics degree and realised I would rather be doing that. I finished my degree but it was still a few years until I started my masters in engineering.

I was about 24, I had finished my physics degree at 21 but hadn’t wanted to be a research scientist. I tried lots of different jobs and then started thinking about what I actually wanted from last job.
I wanted something technical, complex, that enabled amazing physics, without actually being the research scientist and was also social and creative.
It turned out I wanted to be an engineer, so here I am!
