Question: when you was a child what was your dream to do when you grow up

I went through lots of different ambitions! When I was young I wanted to travel around the world on a bicycle, at some point I wanted to be a waitress, then I wanted to own my own chippy, then I wanted to be an actress! This was all age 12 and below. After then, I started becoming interested in textiles and exploring those options, first with costume design, then fashion design. Then I found Physics, and although I was still interested in Textiles, I wanted to become a Nobel Prize winning Physicist! When I came to university, what I wanted to do changed slightly and I found Materials Science, though I also became really interested in working with young people, and doing charity work. And now I combine all 3! Hurrah!
