You could need to speak to an archeologist – a good place to start (if you’re near London) would be the Natural History Museum – they have lots of lovely archeology stuff – even bits of Moon rock!
But usually a good local history museum will have some things and I find the library usually has at least one book to get you started so you can work out your next steps.
Indiana Jones would be your best bet. Failing that local museums are a good place to start like the others suggested. Where I come from, Dorchester, is an old Roman fort so there’s loads of stuff about archaeology at the town museum and they give lectures and classes on it. I think your school is based in Leamington Spa, right? That’s an old Roman town too so they’d probably have loads of information in the museums there.
