      Hi Matacton,

I’d say the majority of my job I learned as I went along. I learned the fundamentals of the engineering I do everyday at school and university but I’m always learning new things at work and trying out new areas of engineering that I’ve not learned previously. That’s what makes it so interesting 🙂

I think all the different principles and maths skills and the theory behind everything I use every day I leant at school and university, but how I actually do my job, I totally learnt once I got here.
At school and university I also learnt how to think for myself and try things out, something I do all the time here. In my job, I have learnt how lots of different things tie together, in ways I never would have even considered.
